Maria Danieli Wins 2008 Snaffle Bit Futurity $5K Non Pro Limited
Although Maria Danieli owned the 2007 National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Two Rein Champion, she had never competed at the elite reined cow horse event. That changed in 2008, as she won the $5K Non Pro Limited class on Doc Gin With A Twist.
Danieli was quick to thank her trainer, Mike Helsen, for his help. Helsen, who showed Doc Gin With A Twist in the Open Two Rein, won the Open Two Rein on Danieli's horse, Hi Smokin Rooster, last year.

Andis Clippers
A Product Review by Karen Pickering
I tested the model #AGC2 with a wide blade. This really gets the job done fast. I do very little body clipping (other than in winter), but for the face, bridle path and legs this unit is great. The 2-speed motor makes the job go pretty quick and the shape of the unit makes it easy to handle. It’s fairly quiet and comes apart easily for cleaning.
The other real plus with these clippers is the exceptional training video that comes with them. I do my own clipping, so it’s always great to have some guidance. The brand name Andis has been around since 1922, so I would consider this unit a good buy.

Any Horse, Any Rider by Michelle Binder
A DVD Review by Sineka Tornquist-Cragin, NWHS Intern
Any Horse, Any Rider has a unique approach to understanding a horse's movements. Each chapter of the DVD is designed to show independent movements to teach independent work.
Michelle Binder combines natural techniques with dressage training to give you the best possible horse and rider relationship for all disciplines, based on a common principle: natural movement. For Western pleasure, hunters, jumpers, eventers, dressage riders and more, Binder believes every horse is worthy of love, trust and respect. She builds on this belief and working with the natural movements of the horse to create a program that is designed to cross boundaries between all disciplines and breeds.
