Max E Glo Complete - A High Fat Performance Horse Supplement
Max E Glo Stabilized Rice Bran is recognized as a source of “cool calories” and is the base ingredient in Max E Glo Complete. This quality ingredient is a rich source of plant-based oils, making it a safe and effective way to provide the calories needed by a young growing horse, a hard working equine athlete, or a thin horse that needs to regain some condition. Another key benefit of Max E Glo is its stability. If not properly stabilized, the oils in rice bran oxidize and become rancid. Max E Glo is thoroughly stabilized to maintain that just-milled freshness.

Given the high fat level and value-added ingredients, Max E Glo Complete is an ideal supplement for show horses, horses in training, conditioning horses, and sale horses. It contains 13% protein, 20% fat, and has a balanced calcium to phosphorus ratio.

Max E Glo Complete can also be used for horses that are easy keepers at maintenance to light work. Max E Glo, at 1 to 2 pounds per day, will provide enough fat to keep the coat looking great and a sufficient level of important nutrients.

Kensington Roustabout European Cut Blanket
Product review by Karen Pickering

The fit on this blanket seems better than most—no rub marks on the shoulders thanks to the shoulder gussets, and the extra padding across the withers keeps my horse comfortable. The Velcro straps on the underside fit nicely and are hidden from view, and the outer blanket straps have very easy clip connectors rather than the standard blanket buckles that are hard to get hooked properly without using two hands.

The other features I absolutely love are the removable tail cover and the storage bag, made of the same material as the blanket, to keep it protected when not in use.

The blanket is made from a high quality 600 x 1200 Denier Ripstop Teflon coated outer shell for strength and durability. It is 100% waterproof (repels dirt too!) yet still sports a breathable lining. The hollow fiberfill makes the blanket suitable for temperatures from the mid teens up to the high 60s.

Sweet PDZ
Product review by Raye Lochert

A big concern with horses living in stalls is the quality of the air they breathe. While keeping dust to a minimum is in every horse owner’s best interest, sometimes it is difficult to control ammonia fumes. Even the most fastidious stall cleaners will have difficulty in this department. Sweet PDZ makes controlling ammonia fast and efficient.

Ammonia smell is created by urine saturation in flooring or ground. Sweet PDZ neutralizes the ammonia effectively, eliminating any harmful fumes. All it takes is a cup spread over the saturated area every couple of days. For just a few cents a day you can give your horse a fresher and healthier stall while saving money on bedding by having to use less of it to cover up the smell.

Sweet PDZ is a non-toxic, all natural mineral that comes in granular and powder form. With so many products out there claiming to improve the health of your horse, it is hard to tell which ones are hype and which ones are worth it. Sweet PDZ is worth it.

The Itchin' Post
They all itch, so why not provide them with a safe place to scratch?

Cherine McKenzie of Sundown Horse Farm and Shelter has identified a problem and developed a practical solution! She has seen some of the worst results from seriously itchy animals, including ripped skin, missing coats, infections, and worse. She got the idea of creating a safe surface for them to scratch and rub against, and she appropriately named it The Itchin’ Post!

The deep, textured, flexible rubber surface is durable and made to withstand extreme temperatures. You can arrange the pads in a variety of ways on just about any sturdy surface. Pads can be mounted flat or wrapped around corners or posts. They are easily installed within a few minutes.

Before your animals harm themselves or damage your property, find out how easy it is to protect them with The Itchin’ Post pads! Plus, a portion from every pad sold is donated to help unwanted, neglected and abused horses.
